Our Equipment

Currently we operate two track mounted wireline core drills. These are supported by all terrain equipment running PQ, HQ, NQ core pipe both triple tube split barrel oriented systems as well as standard wireline set ups. These drills and the articulated buggy water and pipe carriers that support them are designed to utilize portable pits with shale shaker and de-sander recycling mud systems to minimize sumps and permitting problems. These rigs can core to depths of over 4000 feet depending upon core pipe size and ground conditions.

Our RC dual tube fleet starting from small to large consists of a articulated buggy mounted Canterra Drill supported by a Morooka Rubber track with 900 x 350 air compressor and another skidder or 4 x 4 truck for pipe and water, next up is our Foremost Explorer 1500 with Super Terra Tires, This all terrain buggy drill utilizing 4 inch matrix dual wall pipe and Center Return Face Sample Hammers is capable of depths of 1500 feet on extreme slopes. The Drill is able to utilize its 6 way blade and anchor itself on a hill or move dirt to berm up and then level the deck and set the mast at anywhere from 45 degrees angle to vertical . Lastly our big guy Schrammbo as we call is a 685 Schramm 65,000 pound derrick mounted on a high speed M4A3 Sherman Tank Track hydraulically driven. Equipped with a 650 horse H.P. California engine running a 1050 cfm 350 p.s.i. sullair compressor with depth capability to 2000 feet with matrix 4.5 inch dual wall pipe.

Our Truck mounted Crane Carrier Ingersoll Rand Drill is capable of 3000 foot drill holes for water wells or RC Dual Tube or Wire Line combination Rotary Core Mineral Exploration . This drill is oilfield certified to API standards and has multiple winches for wireline core and various auxiliary functions necessary with running Range 3 Casing, Gravel Placement, Screen Placement and development work for Geothermal as well. We have Portable Mud Pits with 6 cone de-sanders and Shale shakers supplying clean mud to a Emmsco Duplex 7 x 12 Mud Pump or a Worthington 6 x 10 Duplex pump. Auxiliary Compressors and Atlas Copco Boosters for Deep Hammer Drilling in Hard Rock. Three of our RC Drills and one of our core drills are California Air Resource Board Compliant with emissions .

Canterra CT 312 Discoverer

The Canterra CT 312 Discoverer is equipped with a sliding angle derrick, driven by a Detroit 350 H.P. Tier 2 engine. Rig has a powerful multipurpose top head with tilt out loading function. Drill is capable of 1000 foot depths with 4-inch matrix light weight dual wall pipe. Drill is mounted on a Foremost Canterra Articulated Buggy with travel speeds of 20 mph depending on terrain. Drill exerts minimal ground pressure minimizing disturbance with its low weight and narrow width. It also works well in heavily forested areas due to its low height, small foot print and easy turning in close quarters. The Canterra Discoverer Jumbo Drill Style mast pivots to both sides of the buggy allowing the driller a 180-degree arc as well as vertical angle drilling directly behind the buggy. This ability allows us to minimize pads and work from existing forest service or BLM fire access roads. Drill is 8 feet 6 inches wide and thirty feet long pivoting in the middle. It weighs under 30,000 lbs. A separate compressor is utilized , either a 900 x 350 on a rubber track or a 500 x 350 on a small buggy depending on project depth.
